Sebanc throws six touchdown passes as Plainfield routs Perry Meridian, 53-14

INDIANAPOLIS — Bryce Sebanc threw for 370 yards and six touchdowns, including four scoring passes to Zander Nattam, as Plainfield defeated Perry Meridian 53-14 in a Mid State Conference Indiana high school football game.

The Quakers scored the first quarter’s only 13 points and extended their lead to 33-7 by halftime. Plainfield led 40-14 after three quarters before adding 13 unanswered points in the fourth.

Plainfield improved to 3-1, while Perry Meridian fell to 2-2.

Sebanc completed 21 of 26 passes without an interception and added 53 rushing yards on nine carries. Nattam caught nine passes for 173 yards and four touchdowns to lead a Plainfield offense that generated 537 total yards. Ethan Ellis contributed six receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown, while Ty White scored on a 24-yard catch. Austin Ward added two receptions for 63 yards. Justin Meyer led Plainfield’s ground attack with 85 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Devin D’Amato scored on a 1-yard run as the Quakers finished with 167 rushing yards.

Jackson Nagy paced Plainfield’s defense with 10 tackles and a sack. Hayden Hrbek and Coen Vanderbush each added seven tackles, while Korbyn Woods finished with six.

Ian Needam led Perry Meridian with 73 rushing yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Jackson Schoch completed 15 of 26 passes for 128 yards and added a rushing touchdown.

Trevon Darden caught six passes for 58 yards, and Wesley Clary added four receptions for 49 yards. Lucas Joubert and Alexander Lane led the Falcons with eight tackles apiece, and Lane recovered a fumble.
