Park Tudor football builds early lead, beats Christel House 54–30

INDIANAPOLIS — Park Tudor built a commanding first-half lead and kept its offense moving after halftime, defeating Christel House 54–30 on Friday, Oct. 9, in Indiana high school football action.

The Panthers improved to 5–3 with the nonconference victory, while the visiting Eagles fell to 2–6.

Park Tudor established a 19–8 advantage in the opening quarter, then created the separation that decided the game. The Panthers scored 14 unanswered points in the second quarter, turning an 11-point lead into a 33–8 halftime cushion.

Christel House found more success after the break, scoring 14 points in the third quarter. But Park Tudor matched that production, maintaining its 25-point advantage at 47–22 entering the fourth.

The Eagles added eight points in the final period, while the Panthers scored seven to complete the 54–30 victory. Park Tudor reached the scoreboard in every quarter, preventing Christel House’s improved second-half offense from substantially closing the gap.

Woody Corey led the Panthers’ passing attack, completing 10 of 18 throws for 179 yards and four touchdowns without an interception. He also rushed for 24 yards and a score.

Chase Sharp supplied the biggest receiving performance, catching five passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. Wells Weaver turned both of his receptions into touchdowns, finishing with 41 receiving yards.

Jameson Harney scored twice, reaching the end zone on a 47-yard run and a 7-yard reception. Benjamin Trammel threw the touchdown pass to Harney, while Kaleb Keeylen added an 11-yard touchdown catch.

Lucas Deatherage led Park Tudor’s rushers with 67 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Nicholas McAteer contributed 58 yards on seven attempts.

Kian McAteer and Colton Bettcher each recorded eight tackles for the Panthers. Deatherage and Weaver each added a sack, while Harney and Trammel intercepted passes.
