Lawrence North’s eight-touchdown effort overwhelms Ben Davis, 54-28

Prather throws four scoring passes, Moore rushes for 146 yards as Wildcats pull away

Lawrence North scored in every quarter and collected five takeaways to defeat Ben Davis 54-28 in an Indiana high school football matchup.

Darian Prather threw four touchdown passes in the first half, while Izayveon Moore rushed for 146 yards and two scores on 28 carries to lead the Wildcats.

Lawrence North opened a 14-7 first-quarter lead behind Prather’s 11-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Puntillo and a 14-yard scoring connection with Ethan Abdulraheem.

The Wildcats added three touchdowns in the second quarter. Prather found Abdulraheem for a 63-yard score and Davion Dean for a 53-yard touchdown before Zechariah Knox scored on a 2-yard run. Lawrence North carried a 33-21 advantage into halftime.

Moore scored on a 4-yard run in the third quarter, and Davion Jones returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown as the Wildcats extended their lead to 47-28. Moore added a 20-yard touchdown run in the fourth while Lawrence North held Ben Davis scoreless in the final period.

Prather passed for 283 yards and added 60 rushing yards on eight attempts. Dean led the receivers with three catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. Abdulraheem caught three passes for 82 yards and two scores, while Puntillo finished with three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown.

Amari Moore added four catches for 39 yards, and Keivon Mattox had four receptions for 35 yards.

Jones complemented his interception return with five tackles, an assist and three pass breakups. Trey Cunningham and Vincent Harris also intercepted passes, while Landon Beard and Makai Redwine recovered fumbles. Ladavion Robinson recorded six tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss. Anthony Whitfield added a sack and two tackles for loss.
