Center Grove found more offensive success after the break, but the Wildcats added another touchdown of their own. Izayveon Moore reached the end zone on a 2-yard run, and Knox supplied the extra point. Each team scored seven points in the third quarter, leaving Lawrence North ahead 28–10.

Center Grove held Lawrence North scoreless over the final period and added 10 points, bringing the game within one touchdown and a two-point conversion. The comeback narrowed the deficit considerably, but the Wildcats’ earlier scoring proved enough to secure the eight-point victory.
