The 3A Brebeuf Jesuit Braves outlasted the 2A Sheridan Blackhawks 54-51. The Braves’ defense came into play big time in the middle two quarters holding Sheridan to single digit scoring while forcing 19 turnovers on the night. Sheridan still shot a solid 53 percent from the floor in the loss as a team. Kenzie Garner led the Blackhawks with a massive 30 point, 12 rebound double-double with 4 blocks and a pair of steals on the defensive end. Cecilia Timme chipped in with 11 points with 4 boards, and 3 assists. Brielle Garner added 8 in the loss. 

3A Brebeuf improves to 2-2 on the season, 2A Sheridan falls to 2-1.
