The 2A #8 Sheridan Blackhawks emerged champions from the Sheridan Holiday Tournament by way of a 68-46 win over the 2A Seeger Patriots, and a 57-36 victory against the 2A Eastern Hancock Royals. The win against the Patriots was dominant for the Blackhawks. Headed to halftime, Sheridan led 43-17 after holding Seeger to single-digit scoring in the first two quarters. Credit the win to a 58 percent team shooting performance with 13 steals and 22 assists. Leading the way in game one was Kenzie Garner with 25 points and nine rebounds. Shelby Eaton contributed with 11 points, and Cecilia Timme added 10 points with five assists. 

In the championship against Eastern Hancock, the Blackhawks got off to a bit of a slower start, but were able to outscore the Royals in every quarter while allowing just one double-digit quarter. Kenzie Garner was the leader again as the only double-figure scorer with a 24 point, 13 rebound double-double in addition to six assists and five blocks. 

2A #8 Sheridan (12-1) are the Sheridan Holiday Tournament Champions.
