The 4A East Central Trojans defeated the 3A Greenwood Woodmen 62-35 in the opening round of the Greenwood Holiday Tournament. The Woodmen struggled with offensive production, shooting just 33 percent as a team while giving up the ball 21 times. Freshman Maddison Judge led the team with just 10 points and eight rebounds. Off the ball, Isabelle Reynolds put together four assists. East Central would advance to the championship against 3A Yorktown but fall short by a score of 42-31.
