The 2A Scecina Crusaders put together a dominant win over the 1A Tindley Tigers 52-21 in Saturday’s home matchup. The Crusaders managed to overcome a massive 25 team turnovers in the win, largely helped by the glass defense with 39 team rebounds. Paired with 48 percent overall shooting on the opposite end of the floor, Scecina had a recipe for success. Sophomore Ainsley Brown racked up 17 points to lead the Crusaders with six boards, and a pair of blocks. Mia Miller added 12 points with eight rebounds and four assists. Kaila Leath put up significant numbers with 11 rebounds in addition to eight points.
2A Scecina moves to 6-6, 1A Tindley falls to 8-5.
