The 2A #14 Sheridan Blackhawks dominated on their home court to defeat the 2A Eastern Comets 72-15 in Friday’s Hoosier Heartland Conference matchup. The Blackhawks shifted into high gear right from the opening tip, scoring 34 in the first quarter. Thanks to a team total of 29 steals, Sheridan was able to hold Eastern to six points or less in each quarter while shooting a whopping 60 percent on the other end, proving to be a lethal combination. Senior Kenzie Garner continues to carry Sheridan with a pair of three-pointers as a part of a 24 point, five assist performance. Cecilia Timme added 11 with five rebounds and seven steals. Brielle Garner and Sadie Timme each scored 10 for the Blackhawks and combined for eight steals. 

2A #14 Sheridan is 10-1 (4-0, 1st in HHC), 2A Eastern falls to 0-12 (0-3, 8th in HHC).
