In a non-conference Indiana high school basketball contest, Purdue commit Luke Ertel and Owen Daugherty combined for seven 3’s leading Mt. Vernon (10 – 2) to a 59 – 39 win over Homestead.  Ertel drilled three on his way to 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.  Daugherty nailed four for 12 points.  Max Vise chipped in 11 points along with six boards.
