Ben Davis turned in a commanding performance, rolling past the Indianapolis Metropolitan 96-50 in Indiana high school basketball non-conference action at Metropolitan High School. The victory extends Ben Davis’s winning streak to seven games and improves its record to 7-2 on the season, while Metropolitan drops to 3-5. 

From the opening tip, the Giants imposed their will on both ends of the court. Ben Davis sprinted out to an early lead and never looked back, building a dominant advantage behind efficient scoring, relentless rebounding and stifling defense. The Giants’ balanced offense kept the Pumas off balance throughout the night. 

Leading the charge for Ben Davis was senior Sherman Moss Wright, who poured in a team-high 17 points and contributed 8 rebounds in a stellar all-around effort. Sophomore Eron McDuffey also shined, matching Wright’s offensive punch with 15 points including three 3’s, earning Player of the Game honors for his second strong performance of the season. 

Senior Jashawn Ladd added a steady offensive spark with 10 points and a game-high 8 assists, helping the Giants share the ball and maintain pressure. Lewis Harvey chipped in 9 points, while Dredan Royston and Jasir Rogers provided complementary minutes off the bench to sustain the scoring surge.
