The 3A Yorktown Tigers took a close win over the 3A Greensburg Pirates 55-47 in Saturday night’s matchup. The Tigers were crips on the offensive side of the ball shooting 55 percent as a team and only giving up 9 total turnovers. Senior Austin Kates led the way for Yorktown with 18 points, 5 assists, and a massive 5 steals on defense of the team’s 12 total. Mason Trammell tallied 12 points and Jabin Barnes finished out the top scorers with 11. 

3A Yorktown improves to 2-0 on the young season, 3A Greensburg falls to 1-1.
