The Indiana high school boys basketball New Castle Sectional tipped off with the Delta Eagles defeating the Frankton Eagles 46-25. Frankton fought hard in the first half taking the action to halftime trailing by just 3 points, but Delta’s defense kicked things up a notch in the second half only allowing 7 points for Frankton. On defense Austin “Bubba” Nunley and Brady Carmack were leaders for Frankton with 2 blocks and 2 steals respectively. As a team Frankton only shot 34 percent and gave the ball up 13 times. Carmack was the single double-digit scorer for Frankton with 14 points along with 7 boards. 

Delta (19-6) advances to play New Castle on Friday, Frankton finishes the season (15-9).
