Frye throws three touchdown passes as Brownsburg rolls past Avon, 49-7

BROWNSBURG — Oscar Frye completed 16 of 18 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns as Brownsburg defeated Avon 49-7 in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference Indiana high school football game.
The Bulldogs scored 21 points in each of the first two quarters to build a 42-0 halftime lead triggering a running clock to start the third quarter. Brownsburg added seven third-quarter points before Avon scored in the fourth.
Brownsburg remains unbeaten at 4-0, while Avon suffered its first loss and fell to 3-1.
Branden Sharpe led the Bulldogs’ receivers with five catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. Noah Dearman added four receptions for 67 yards and a score, while Crew Brown caught four passes for 56 yards.
Parker Condon scored through the air and on the ground, finishing with two receptions for 21 yards and five carries for 33 yards. Brady Lewis rushed for 38 yards and two touchdowns on 12 attempts, and Colton Twomey scored on a 5-yard run.
Brownsburg finished with 426 yards of total offense, including 303 passing yards and 123 rushing yards.
The Bulldogs’ defense collected three takeaways. Tye Morgan intercepted a pass, while Cameron Williams and Souleyman Ouattara each recovered a fumble. Thomas Banich led Brownsburg with five tackles. Grevin Fields recorded three tackles for loss, including a sack, as the Bulldogs finished with eight stops behind the line of scrimmage.
