Gray leads Pendleton Heights past Kokomo 37-12

Senior quarterback throws three touchdown passes as Arabians remain unbeaten

Brandt Gray passed for three touchdowns and accumulated 253 yards of offense as Pendleton Heights defeated Kokomo 37-12 Friday night in an Indiana high school football non-conference game.

Gray completed 13 of 17 passes for 201 yards, finishing with a 76.5% completion rate and a quarterback rating of 130.1. His longest completion covered 60 yards for a TD to C.J. Mitchem. The senior also led Pendleton Heights (3-0) with 52 rushing yards on eight carries.

The Arabians finished with 328 yards of total offense, including 201 passing and 127 rushing.

Camden Saxon led the receiving corps with six catches for 77 yards. Byron Vores collected three passes for 56 yards, including a 35-yard reception.

Gray’s ability to move the offense through the air and on the ground proved central to the Arabians’ third consecutive victory.
