Noblesville rolls past Arsenal Tech in 64-0 season-opening victory

Stevenson scores five touchdowns as Millers dominate in all three phases

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Noblesville scored 48 first-half points and forced six turnovers in a 64-0 season-opening Indiana high school football victory over Arsenal Tech.

The Millers took control immediately, scoring 27 points in the opening quarter before adding 21 in the second. The 48-0 halftime margin triggered a running clock for the second half. Noblesville added seven points in the third quarter and nine in the fourth while keeping the Titans off the scoreboard.

Sophomore Luke Stevenson led the offensive barrage, rushing nine times for 142 yards and five touchdowns. He averaged 15.8 yards per carry and broke a 51-yard run. The Millers rushed for 190 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 attempts. Chris Terry added 38 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Quarterback Windsor Hutchins completed 5 of 6 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. His scoring pass went to Ethan Clark, who caught three passes for 38 yards.

The Millers also scored twice on defense. Tyler Holmes returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown, while Yan Tioua scored on a fumble recovery. Noblesville intercepted three Arsenal Tech passes and recovered three fumbles. Holmes, Dymonta Collier Jr. and Tony Berger recorded interceptions. Alvin Norvell, Tioua and Axel Anderson were credited with fumble recoveries.

The Millers registered eight tackles for loss. Tioua led the defense with eight total tackles and three tackles for loss, while Praise Oladipupo recorded seven tackles and one stop behind the line. Cale Metzler added five tackles and 2½ tackles for loss.
