The 6A #8 Hamilton Southeastern Royals edged the 6A Homestead Spartans 20-14 to open IHSAA Sectional 4 action. The Royals put together 460 yards of offense in the win led by the rush game. Brennan Baker put up 138 yards on just 13 carries to lead the backfield with Azariah Wallace not far behind. Wallace finished with 126 yards on 22 touches with a touchdown. Chandler Weston passed for an additional 117 yards of offense for HSE with a touchdown to receiver Liam Boyd. Kicker Hugo Belmonte got some action, hitting two of three attempts from 28 and 36 yards. In the loss, quarterback Michael White led the Spartans with 196 yards through the air and both touchdowns. Kali Swager caught both scores and finished with just 37 yards. Homestead finishes their season 5-5. 

6A #8 HSE hosts rival 6A Fishers next week to decide the Sectional 4 Championship.
