It was the Gunner Ruppert show in Greenwood’s 49 – 24 trouncing of Bedford North Lawrence in Indiana high school football 4A Sectional 23.  Ruppert scored the game’s first three touchdowns on runs of 47, 17 and 39 yards.  The junior added another pair of TDs rushing for a career high 358 yards.  Woodmen quarterback Parker Jarboe connected with Brady Cave on a 13-yard scoring toss and Leland Morton hit paydirt on a 13-yard dash.  Despite 116 yards in penalties, Justin Boser’s club was dominant from start to finish.  Davion Jones and Brady Eldridge each had an interception.

Greenwood advances to take on Martinsville for the Sectional title.
