There may not be a more improved high school football team in east central Indiana than Wes-Del.  The Warriors smacked Union County 54 – 0 evening their record on the year at 4 – 4.  Coach Matt Nuckols squad rolled up over 450 yards of rushing led by Grayson Mealy’s 123-yard, to touchdown performance.  Eli Wright and Owen Long rushed for 88 and 80 yards and a TD each, respectively.  10 Warriors recorded rushing yards in the win.  Rhyker Mauck rambled  28 yards for a score and Zach Gilliam hit paydirt on a 24-yard scamper.  The freshman also recorded a pair of sacks.  Freshman quarterback Noah Perdue connected with Tyler Summers through the air for a scoring toss.
