It was pure domination as the 6A #11 Center Grove Trojans mowed down the 6A Jeffersonville Red Devils 72-7 in the opening round of IHSAA Sectional 8. As a team, the Trojans rushed for over 350 yards in the win. Austin Hennessy rushed for a pair of scores to finish the night with just 61 yards on six touches. Brodie Tilton found his way into the end zone for Center Grove on a 70 yard run to boost his night to a 91 yard finish. Jack Browning finishes up the rushing scores for the Trojans. Gabe McWilliams spun the ball well for the CG offense completing eight passes for just 115 yards but three scores. Dominick Barry, Drake McClurg, and Tristan Baker reeled in those touchdown receptions. The Trojans used the defense to score as well. Luke Barrett put up six with a 25 yard scoop and score in the first half and doubled down with a 38 yard pick-six in the second. Dallas Cornpropst nailed a 36 yard field goal to finish the Trojan scoring. Caleb Bale scored the lone touchdown for Jeffersonville with an 80 yard return on an interception. The Red Devils end the season 6-4.

6A #11 Center Grove hosts 6A Franklin Central for the Sectional 8 title next week.
