The IHSAA Sectional 22 semi-finals featured the 4A #14 Roncalli Royals upsetting the 4A #7 Brebeuf Braves 55-27. It was a big day out of the backfield for the Royals with two backs combining for 331 yards of offense. Zach Dozier led the charge with 23 carries for 172 yards and a single touchdown. Not far from him was Collin Ash amounting an additional 159 yards rushing on just 19 carries with three trips to the end zone. Henry Adams added the final score on the ground for Roncalli. Jayden Buchanan threw well for the Royals with just 78 yards hitting 4 of 5 passing attempts. Buchanan found Rudy Schoettle and Drew Nelson for touchdowns. Gavin Louthain was a perfect 2 for 2 on field goal attempts in the contest hitting from 25 and 45 yards out. In the loss for the Braves, Maverick Geske was responsible for all four touchdowns through the air and finished with 23 completions for 313 yards. Geske ends the year with 4,039 passing yards making him the 5th quarterback in history to break 4,000 yards in a season. Brebeuf ends the season 8-3.

4A #14 Roncalli advances to face 4A #5 Chatard next week for the Sectional 22 Title.
